UPGRADING TO THE HIGHEST RESOLUTIONS HAS NEVER BEEN A SIMPLER DECISION

Upgrade to 4K video resolution and realize all you've been missing! These amazing 4K cameras actually produce 4x the total picture resolution of 1080P, creating such a clear image you may think you're looking through a window! Equipped with powerful infrared, you can even see in pitch black nearly to 100ft. The incredible Low Lux rating of 0.005, however, could allow the camera to even see in color on a clear, moonless night.

Higher resolutions allow for capabilities lower resolution cameras simply cannot accomplish. Digital zoom is now good enough to reliably get a license plate from about twenty-thirty feet, depending on the angle of view. Facial recognition comes from further distances as well: someone you know could be recognized from nearly 45 feet away, while the camera could get an identifiable picture of someone who is not known from 22 feet away.

INSTALLATION SHOULD ALWAYS BE THIS SIMPLE

A 4mm fixed-lens camera such as this is perfect for general coverage of a corridor or the side of a home. A bullet style like this is great for commercial use, as it allow you to mount it against the wall but still turn the camera to look straight along the wall or down a hallway. Set up is also made easy by the simple plug-n-play style of single cabled POE for power and video transmission, or you can power it locally if you're plugging it straight into a router for video transmission to an internet browser or a recorder that is far removed from the installation site. ONVIF compliance means that this camera would work on any recorder that is also ONVIF compliant, so just about any recorder should be capable of seeing the video feed from this camera.

FAQ

Q: How is the camera powered?
A: Through POE, or, Power Over Ethernet through a Cat5E cable, commonly provided through a POE enabled switch or, such as with our NVR's, an NVR with POE capability. It also has a separate power plug you could use for local power.

Q: Do I need multiple cables, like with my old Analog system?
A: No, you'll only need Cat5E if you have a switch or using a POE enabled NVR like the ones we sell.

Q: What is WDR?
A: Excessive back lighting in an area can cause a "washed out" effect on the camera image, and Wide Dynamic Range combats this by auto-adjusting the image to get bring what you need to see back into clarity.

Q: Can this camera work with my existing NVR?
A: ONVIF compliance is a great thing and standard in many cameras and NVRs. As long as your system is ONVIF compliant and has the necessary bandwidth available, it'll work fine.

Q: Can it record audio?
A: Yes, the camera has a built-in microphone

Q: How long can the cable be?
A: Cat5E can send video and power down the cable approximately 330ft before it experiences signal and power drop off. There are ways to extend this, however, so give us a call to if you have specific needs and we can discuss them with you.

Q: What is the maximum size SD card I can use?
A: 256GB Micro SD.

Q: Does this produce a wide angle?
A: It does provide a pretty wide angle at 112.9 degrees viewing angle.

Q: How does DHCP make my life easier?
A: Before cameras utilized DHCP you would need to manually assign each IP address to each camera. This was time consuming and could be difficult if you weren't aware of IP schemes. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol automatically assigns IP addresses to each camera saving you time and the hassle of doing it manually.
