4K IP Bullet Surveillance Camera with a 2.8-12mm Variable Focus Lens & IR

Product #1865

Introducing our brand new line of 4K cameras. You will be blown away by how clear the picture is, it features a variable focus lens of 2.8-12mm and comes equipped with built in infrared which gives you the ability to see in pitch black darkness. The amazing picture quality of 4K is literally 4x the total resolution of 1080P which makes for the resulting crisp image that you see. That is what allows you to get better detail at greater distances, like facial recognition from much further away.

Producing an ultra high res gives this cam the ability to do things other lower resolution cameras simply cannot do. It's capable of seeing movement up to 200ft away. If you've seen the person before or know them you would be able to recognize them at 150ft. In the circumstance that you haven't then you can get complete facial recognition at 100ft.

Having a vari-focus lens gives this cam the ability to work in a wide variety of situations anything from having a wide general coverage type of view to a more narrow view to monitor something specific. The bullet style design is ideal for an outdoor commercial environment because of the way the camera mounts, it gives you the ability to mount it flat against a wall but still look straight down a wall.

The premium feel of this camera doesn't end with the amazing resolution, they've even made it extremely easy to setup with POE support and DHCP automatic address assignment.

Q: How is the camera powered?
A: Through POE. Most commonly it's through the use of a switch, however if you're using one of our systems the POE is built right into the NVR.

Q: What type of cable do I use?

Q: What is WDR?
A: Wide Dynamic Range combats the negative impact that excessive back lighting can cause when mounting a camera inside say a storefront with all glass windows, the light pouring in from behind a subject can darken the image and hide details. WDR allows you to still make out details in those types of situations.

Q: Can this camera work with my existing NVR?
A: As long as your NVR supports ONVIF and has enough bandwidth to support 4K then yes.

Q: Can it record audio?
A: It does not have a built in microphone however you can plug an external microphone into it.

Q: How long can the cable be?
A: Industry standard is roughly 330 feet and is still best practice. However there are ways around this, you would want to reach out to us to discuss your specific needs.

Q: What is the maximum size SD card I can use?
A: 128GB Micro SD.

Q: Does this produce a wide angle?
A: It does provide a pretty wide angle at 79.6 degrees when set to 2.8mm.

Q: You mention a vari focus lens, what is this?
A: It means that the camera has an adjustable lens that can go between 2.8mm and 12mm. This allows you to customize the field of view on the camera.

Q: How does DHCP make my life easier?
A: Before cameras utilized DHCP you would need to manually assign each IP address to each camera. This was time consuming and could be difficult if you weren't aware of IP schemes. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol automatically assigns IP addresses to each camera saving you time and the hassle of doing it manually.
