Get a full range of view with 160 degrees of surveillance. The Uniview 4MP Starlight Camera is 4MP full 4k HD resolution at 25fps which means we get 3840x1080 pixels, perfect for zooming and cropping into the large picture provided. Setup and maintenance are easy with simple online firmware upgrades through the cloud and it supports ONVIF Conformance to be easily integrated into your system. With the color hunter dual lens, which combines both pictures to ensure that there is 24/7 160 degree color coverage. All of these features and more make this camera perfect for monitoring areas outside your business or warehouse. The wide-angle view makes it perfect for long buildings and parking lots, but the coverage is perfect for all different situations. The design makes it completely weatherized, so there is no need to worry about the elements affecting your camera.

AMAZINGLY SIMPLE INSTALLATION

Set up is a real breeze; with POE+ (Power Over Ethernet) technology, you can transmit power and the video signal across one cable back to your recorder or router. Mounting the camera should always be an easy thing, and UNV cameras are the best at it. It Includes screws and a camera base to affix it to the wall, then angle as needed to get your desired view. The UNV 160  also comes with the ability to edge record through a 256 gig micro SD card, allowing the camera to continue recording even when your system is down.

FAQ

Q: How does the camera receive power?
A: Through the use of POE. Most NVRs have POE built directly into the unit; otherwise, you'll need to use a switch. This is possible because it sends the video and power directly through the same cable.

Q: What type of cable do I use?
A: You'll want to use CAT5E

Q: What is DWDR?
A: It stands for Digital Wide Dynamic Range. It's used to improve image quality when a light source is behind what you are trying to capture, like a storefront with windows or doors. The light shining behind a person would generally completely darken the image. DWDR helps combat that.

Q: Will this camera work with my existing NVR?
A: Potentially, it is ONVIF compliant. You will need to check with your system to see if it is compatible.

Q: Does it record audio?
A: Yes, with two built in mics it supports audio detection and two way audio.

Q: How far can I run the cable?
A: A good rule to stick by is 100M, which translates to roughly 330ft. However, there are ways to extend this with proprietary technology. You're going to want to call us to find out the best way to do it for your specific project.

Q: What is the maximum size SD card I can use?
A: 256GB Micro SD.

Q: Does this produce a wide angle?
A: Absolutely; with two F1.0 large apertures with the picture stitched together it provides a colorful wide 160 degree view.

Q: What is DHCP?
A: It stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol and allows the camera to automatically accept an IP address from the NVR. This will save you time and hassle when installing the system.
