A PROFESSIONAL IP SURVEILLANCE CAMERA

Our all new 4MP IP camera produces a clean color high definition image during the day and will switch over to black and white at night time and kick on the IR's (Infrared) for a 98ft range in complete darkness.

This camera can be installed inside or outside because it's completely weatherized and is unaffected by rain and most temperatures. It is called a Vandal Dome because it's resistant to physical impacts which is really useful when mounting the camera outside within striking distance.

It does all of this in super crisp 4MP resolution which is twice the resolution than 1080P HD. To speak about the variable focus lens for a second of 2.8mm through 12mm. A 2.8mm is a very wide angle where as 12mm is fairly narrow. Having the ability to adjust this on the camera let you get the desired angle. A vari focus lens is useful when you're mounting the camera high off of the ground or if you're trying to watch a gate/doorway or something specific like a cash register.

A VANDAL PROOF AND WEATHERIZED IP CAM FOR THE TOUGHEST CONDITIONS

IP Cameras for years have been avoided by small businesses and residential consumers because of the complexity of the initial installation and maintenance. You won't find any of those problems with this cam, setup and installation couldn't be easier. This surveillance cam accepts POE which means that one cable can bring both power and data over just that single cable. Setup is even easier since the camera is automatically discovered via DHCP, it's completely plug and play.

FAQ

Q: How do I power the cam?
A: Either through the use of a POE switch or our NVR's have POE ports built right in.

Q: What type of cable do I use?
A: CAT5E is recommended.

Q: What is WDR?
A: Wide Dynamic Range combats the negative impact that excessive back lighting can cause when mounting a camera inside say a storefront with all glass windows, the light pouring in from behind a subject can darken the image and hide details. WDR allows you to still make out details in those types of situations.

Q: Will this work with my existing NVR?
A: Depends on whether or not your current system is compatible with ONVIF.

Q: Does it record audio?
A: Yes, A microphone is built-in to the camera.

Q: How far can I run the cable?
A: Maximum cable length is roughly 330 feet, however there are ways to get around this for longer cable runs. You'll want to contact us for details on your specific project.

Q: What is the maximum size SD card I can use?
A: 256GB Micro SD.

Q: Does this produce a wide angle?
A: Yes, when setting the lens to 2.8mm it allows it to have a 102.79 degree field of view.

Q: What is a vari focus lens and how can it help me?
A: It allows you to adjust the field of view from 102.79 degrees all the way down to 30.86 degrees so you can customize the width of the image. This is most useful when mounting the cam high up or when wanting to monitor something specific.

Q: What is DHCP?
A: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol allows the cam to get it's IP address assigned to it automatically by the NVR. This saves a lot of time and headache when installing the cameras and opens the door to use this system which may not be familiar with IP addressing.
